Article 813 — Offenses Committed by Supervisory Judge,

Supervisor in Reorganization or Trustee in bankruptcy A supervisory judge, a supervisor in reorganization or a trustee in bankruptcy who: 1/ voluntarily harms the creditors’ or debtor’s interests by either using the payment received under the proceedings of this Book while carrying out his duties for his own profits or causes others to grant him benefits that he is aware that they are not due; or 2/ makes use, in his own interest, of his powers for a purpose he knows to be contrary to the creditors’ or debtor’s interests; shall, upon conviction, be punishable with a simple imprisonment ranging from six months to three years and a fine of Five Thousand to Fifty Thousand Ethiopian Birr.
