Article 187 — Guarantee

1/ A partner who has made contributions in kind, excluding skill, shall carry out the duties of a seller under the sale provisions of the Civil Code. 2/ A partner who has contributed only the use of property shall carry out the obligations of a lessor under the provisions of the Civil Code dealing with the contract of lease. 3/ A partner who has contributed a debt shall have the same obligation as a debtor under the contract of loan provisions of the Civil Code.
