Article 357 — Investigation by the Motion of Relevant

Government Authority The Ministry of Trade and Industry or any other government authority authorized by law may, on its own motion, appoint inspectors to conduct an investigation where it has good reason to believe that the operations of the company are such as may reveal: 1/ fraud committed or likely to be committed on creditors of the company; 2/ acts prejudicial to the rights of certain shareholders; 3/ illegal or fraudulent activities; or 4/ acts which constitute criminal offence.
