1/ Any person who owns a business may mortgage such
business notwithstanding that he does not operate it
himself.
2/ The mortgage shall not be binding as between the
parties unless it is made in writing nor can it be
invoked against third parties unless registered in
accordance with the relevant law.
3/ Particulars of the registration of contractual mortgage
shall be prescribed by special law.
