Article 518 — Contamination of Pastureland.

Article text
(1) Whoever intentionally contaminates pastureland or fields with poisonous or harmful substances so as to endanger the life or health of animals, is punishable with fine or simple imprisonment, or, in serious cases, with rigorous imprisonment not exceeding seven years.
(2) Where the crime is committed negligently, the punishment shall be simple imprisonment not exceeding six months, or fine.
