Article 426 — Release of Prisoners of War, or Military Internees

and Aiding to Escape.
(1) Any public servant who, contrary to law or instructions, releases or aids to escape prisoners of war or military internees under his custody, is punishable with rigorous imprisonment not exceeding fifteen years.
(2) Where the crime is committed negligently, the punishment shall be simple imprisonment not exceeding two years.
