Article 240 — Notice to admit documents

(1) Either party may, by notice in the form prescribed by the Third Schedule to this Code, call upon the other party to produce or admit any document. (2) Such notice shall be given not later than ten days before the hear- ing so as to enable the opposite party to reply thereto before the hearing or to produce the document at the hearing.
