Article 111 — Issue o.f summons

The court may, on the conditions laid down in Arts. 149, 257 and 345, issue summonses to persons whose attendance is required either to give evidence or to produce documents: Provided that either party may, without applying for a summons, bring any person, whose name appears in the list annexed to the sta- tement of claim or defence, to give evidence or to produ~ documents.
