Article 251 — — Personal Nature of the Functions.

1) The functions of guardian or tutor constitute a personal office which does not pass to the heirs of the guardian or tutor. 2) The heirs shall be liable only for the mismanagement carried out by the person whom they succeed, within the limits specified in the law of successions.
