Article 236 — — Commencement of Functions.

1) The functions of guardian and of tutor shall commence from the appointment of the guardian or the tutor by virtue of the law or by the decision of the court. 2) No liability shall be incurred by the guardian or tutor so long as he is not aware of the circumstances under which such functions devolve on him.
