Where a person who has been sentenced to arrest or simple imprisonment not exceeding one year is:
(a) a pregnant woman; or
(b) the sole support of his family, and such person is not likely to be a danger to public security, the court may postpone the execution of the sentence for a period not exceeding six months on production of guarantors for his good behaviour. 70 CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE
